One volunteer, Jenny Peltzer, has recently experienced loss in her life. Peltzer has benefited personally from the training she has received.
“It is wonderful working here, and since having the grief training, I am more effective dealing with others,” Peltzer acknowledged.
Danielsen stressed that volunteers are needed, especially those who know God is part of the healing process.
Tb encourage those who are ill, dying or grieving, the center offers Bible studies and retreats.
“We need people to volunteer to help at the center,” said Slaga. “There is something for everyone who wants to help.”
