William Payne placed first in the junior division of the 4-H Sharethe-Fun contest which was held Friday night. He sang a solo “Marizy Doats” accompanied by his mother at the piano. His little friend sang “I’ve Been Working on the Railroad.” Billy will get a scholarship to 4-H camp in August. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne, Locust Shade Farm, Amissville.
