The class winners were: 4th grade: Daniel Chadduck and Rachel DuMez; 5th grade: Will Mullany and Ryan Ochoa; 6th grade: Patrick Brown and John Holsinger; 7th grade: Vincent Paul and Abigael Whitaker, 8th grade: Jim Hennessy and Andrew Schaus.
Each of these ten students competed in Wakefield’s competition, which consisted of seven preliminary rounds and a championship round.
Students were asked one question in each round, and allowed 15 seconds in which to answer his or her question.
In this final round, students were eliminated after answering two questions incorrectly.
