Regarding the reservoir, Ann Critzer of Washington requested in a public forum that the council look into the straightening of the road leading to the reservoir.
Critzer advised that her husband Steve could have a valve installed in the pipes that forces air from the piping in an area where there is a bump in the road.
However, it would be more cost-effective for the town to straighten the road, keeping within the 10-foot right of way and eliminating upkeep of the valve.
Council members voted unanimously for the Critzers to negotiate in the name of the town to proceed with legal matters to accomplish this.
