Lucy Fogle is studying the effect of age on one’s ability to follow directions.

Many interesting junior division projects are being submitted. Megan Wheatley is entering her project entitled “ Don’t B flat, Don’t B sharp, always B natural.” Zack Wayland is investigating potential energy, kinetic energy and mass in “Bowling Bottles.” Madison Herbert is studying synthetic vs. natural dyes. Conner Miller is studying the effects of barometric pressure on calving rates. Huck Pace is investigating the effect of population on pollution. Kendra Settle is studying the effect of age on geographic knowledge. Joe Vickers is determining the ultimate tower design. Austin Burnett is investigating “The Monte Carlo Effect: Can you predict the outcome of controlled scenarios?”

The Science Fair allows students to apply the scientific method to a unique research question which they have developed and researched.
