• Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection will hold its monthly Board of Directors meeting on Monday Feb. 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Library. The new President, Paul Farmer, will lead a discussion of 2005 budget, committees, and programs. All are invited •All Rappahannock County government offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 21 in observance of Presidents’Day. • On Monday, Feb. 21 the Rappahannock National Bank will be closed in'observance of Presidents’ Day. • On Monday, Feb. 21 the BB&T Bank in Rint Hill will be closed in observance of Presidents’ Day. • Rappahannock County public schools will be closed Feb. 21 in observance of Presidents’ Day. • Wakefield County Day School in Flint Hill will be closed Feb. 21 -25 for the winter sports week. •On Wednesday, Feb. 23, the Rappahannock County Board of Zoning Appeals will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the courthouse on Gay Street •On Wednesday, Feb. 23-the Town of Washington will hold a Public Meeting at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall to discuss the scope of the proposed sanitary sewer project in the town. A brief presentation of the preliminary engineering design of the project by the town’s consultant engineering firm, WW Associates, will be followed by a general project discussion. Residents and property owners are encouraged to provide input in regard to the proposed locations of sewer pump stations on individual properties. • The next regular meeting of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Regional Commission will be held Wednesday, Feb. 23,1 p.m. at the RappahannockRapidan Regional Commission Offices, 420 Southriage Parkway, Suite 106, Culpeper, VA 22701.
