Rappahannock News Staff Writer
Rappahannock County High School wrestling traveled to Monticello High School in Albemarle County Saturday, taking third as a team in the six-team invitational tournament behind Monticello High School in first place and Spotswood High School in second place.
Rapp defeated Nottoway with a final 41-6 team score, edged past Monticello’s “B” team, 37-36 and overcame Powhatan, 47-30.
In individual placements, three Rapp grapplers brought home gold medals, Alex Sharp at 135-pounds, Dos Allen at
91.1%
