Students in grades K—3 may enter their original stories and original illustrations in WVPT—Virginia’s Public Television’s Eleventh Annual ‘Reading Rainbow’ Young Writers and Illustrators Contest. Entry deadline is February 25.
Children in kindergarten, first, second, and third grades may enter fiction or non-fiction stories or those written in the form of prose or poetry. Stories submitted by kindergarteners and first graders must be between 50 and 200 words in length. Stories submitted by second and third graders must be between 100 and 350 words.
