The award for Miss Rappahannock 2005 will be a cash prize of $100, a dozen roses, and a dinner for two at a local restaurant.

A tiara, sash, and trophy will be given to all first place winners, with first and second runner-ups receiving a trophy.

All remaining participants will receive a participation (memory/keepsake) trophy.

Admission to the pageant starting at 6:00 pm on March 19, 2005 will be $5 for adults and $3 for children under 10.

The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad is operated by volunteers who donate their time and energy to help their neighbors.

These dedicated individuals receive emergency medical training through the Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services, and are certified on various levels of patient care.

Through donations, fund raising events, and state grants, the rescue squad is able to replace and upgrade life saving equipment and ambulances.
