The Rappahannock County JV girls’ basketball team hosted Manassas Park last week, beating the Cougars 48-13.
“We played our game tonight,” said Coach Stephanie Shaw, ‘We didn’t want to resort to sloppiness.”
Leading at half time 22-7, the Panthers came out of the locker room ready to play, scoring the first points.
Taking ill-advised shots, the Cougars were unable to put points on the board until the final three minutes of the third quarter, when they hit one at the line.
