One popular spectator attrac- - tdon at the New Kent County facility has been Saturday steeplechase days. Jump racing has regularly attracted the biggest daily crowds to the track. The Strawberry Hill races, held at Colonial in April, help build and maintain a local fan base who have come to view the track as more of a party place than a betting outlet.
