Senior position in the Loudoun County Planning Department, Comprehensive Planning Division. Manages policy development public process (including major elements of the Comprehensive Plan). Reviews/ analyzes complex land development applications. Develops spatial data analyses using Arcinfo/Arc view GIS software. Works independently in a highly visible position, advising the Board of Supervisors and Board-appointed Committees on land use issues. Must possess analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally. Requires considerable land planning experience and ability to manage multiple assignments and maintain effective relationships with elected/ appointed officials. Master’s degree in planning or related field and two years of comprehensive planning experience including one year of project management. AJCP desired.
(Hiring Range $45,108 - $60,896/yr)
