A 17-year-old female from Warrenton was traveling westbound on US-211 near the intersection with Rt 611 when she lost control of her vehicle.
Her 2001 Toyota Camry ran off the right side of the road, over-corrected, and then left the right side of the road again, striking an embankment.
The driver was unhurt but charged with reckless driving by Trooper Derrick Mauck There was approximately $4,000 in damages.
September 16, 4:30 p.m.
Twenty-year old Kimberly Nicole Elliott was driving on Rt 729 when she lost control of her 2000 Toyota Tacoma. The vehicle ran off the right side of the road, striking a fence and then overturning and sliding back onto 729 still overturned. Elliott received only minor injuries but was charged with failure to maintain control. The damage to her vehicle was estimated at $3,000.
