Apple Harvest Festival

Come see nature’s way of blanketing the mountains with beautiful colors during the month of October. Er\joy fun-filled days complete with food, entertainment, arts and crafts, hayrides and horseback rides, hay maze, pick your own apples, and visit our family’s working educational farm. Experience the days of yestetyear, watching apple butter and Brunswick stew being cooked in kettles over an open fire on October 8 and 9 and 15 and 16 at 10 a m. to 4:30 p.m at Graves’ Mountain Lodge, Route 670 Syria, Va. (Madison County).

Cloggers and Bluegrass music to include: Smith Mt. Bluegrass Band, Heather Berry & Virginia Carolina, Flatland Bluegrass Band, Grassy Ridge Bluegrass Band, Orange Cloggers, Hi-Horse Cloggers, Buck Mountain Cloggers

Lunch at the festival will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., or as long as it lasts. Meals at the lodge restaurant are by reservation only.
