on Sunday, September 25 at 11 a.m. The guest speaker will be'Mr. Don DeLong, husband of the pastor of the church, Leah DeLong. There will be a covered dish luncheon following the service at the Flint Hill Fire Hall. Everyone is welcome. There will be no 8:45 a.m. worship service on September 25, the other two churches in the Rappahannock Charge (Willis Chapel and Sperryville) will have worship services at the usual times.
Washington Baptist Church will observe its 123 anniversary by celebrating Homecoming Day on Sunday, October 2. Dr. David Moore, former pastor from 1977-1981, will be the guest speaker at the 11 a.m. worship hour. A special program of remembrance will be held from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. in the church sanctuary.
