This event began back in 1995 at New Salem Baptist Church with six musicians and a small group of listeners. As the event grew, it moved to the fire hall where now there is standing room only on some occasions. All performers who have taken part in the past are invited to attend along with Rev. Sandy Martin who has written a special song for this event and will be performing. The public is invited.
Sympathy is extended to the family of Gerald F. Hill of Castleton Way and the family of Mr. Norman “Slim” Ester of Reva Way.
With the Windmore Bam, here in Griffinsburg, in need of repair , a group of volunteers gathered Saturday to begin restoration. This property consisting of 10 acres was donated by the Yates family and the bam is adjacent to Windmore’s Amphi Theater, which in the past has been used for theater productions
