Join us Saturday, October 8th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sunnyside Farms Harvest Moon Fall Festival and help raise money for the animals of Rappahannock. Start collecting pledge money today and you could win cash and great prizes valued at over $350! Pick up pledge forms from local merchants or download forms at www.rawldogs.org. Everyone who collects $50 or more in pledges will receive your choice of an official RAWL embroidered T-shirt or hat. All walkin' doggies get a free goodie bag.
Registration starts at 10 a.m. Be sure to bring your signed pledge form and donation money. The group “Strutt” begins at 11 a.m. Self-guided “Strutts” will be going on throughout the day. Be sure to join us after the walk for exciting doggie games and contests, including the Bite Me Biscuit Ibss (how far can your dog catch a cookie) and the Pup Com Catch (how many pieces of popcorn can your dog catch in a row). Crowd favorites like the dog/owner look-a-like, best smile and dress up relay will be on tap too!
If you don’t have a dog, we can help. The RAWL adoptable dogs will be on hand to participate with you in all the events. You might just find a furry new friend to take home! Sally Petty and the Waggin’ Hearts Therapy Dogs will be on site as well as Laurie Smith with Bite Me All Natural Dog Biscuits.
The event will take place at Sunnyside Farms @ The Schoolhouse located at the comer of US 211 and Route 522 in Sperryville, VA.
