Making the most of the Virginia fall steeplechase season kickoff at the Thornton Hill Hounds Point-to-Point, locally based riders Jeff Murphy and Ellen Homer traded wins, grins and spins at the hilly Thornton Hill Farm course Saturday. Between the two of them, Murphy and Homer controlled the card, winning four of eight races on the program.
