Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department is looking for vendors for their first annual fall harvest festival on Saturday, October 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All tables are $10 each. October 8: Rappahannock Relief

Fundraising dinner

Nels Parson is orchestrating a pot luck dinner to be held at the Washington Fire Hall on Saturday, October 8 starting at 5:30. Area churches wifi be participating. All proceeds will go to help Hurricane Katrina victims. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. Phone Nels at 675-3122 for information.

October 22: Rabies

Vaccination Clinic

There will be a Rabies Vaccination Clinic on Saturday, October 22 at the Rappahannock Animal Welfare League (RAWL) located on Route 639 off of US 211 in Amissville by the landfill starting at 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The cost is $10 per pet. All proceeds will go to RAWL.

Vaccinations will be available for cats and dogs from any county. Pets ‘must be at least 4 months old. For more information, all (540) 937-3336.
