Katrina Relief
In other Hearthstone news, the high school classes have begun performing community service in Rappahannock County. One to two times per month, they depart from the school for several hours to assist elderly members of the community.
Finally, Hearthstone School and the Rappahannock community recently sent a trailer full of donations to a relief center in Mississippi, in an area hit extremely hard by Hurricane Katrina. Donations included bottled water, bleach, blankets, laundry powder, shovels and other tools for clean up and reconstruction, toys, clothes, camping supplies and cleaning supplies.
