Shenandoah Valley Quilters

invite new members

The Shenandoah Valley Quilters Guild invites and welcomes new members. We meet monthly, normally at Sunnyside Retirement Center in Harrisonburg. Our members live throughout the Shenandoah Valley from Winchester to Lexington. Our October meeting will feature Jan Carlson who’s talk is titled “The Fun I’ve Had Along the Way - (Oh, You’re Supposed to Finish Them?). Jan has been a quilt maker for more than twenty years and is passionate about applique. She teaches, lectures, and design patterns for quilters. Trick or Treat at Gadino Cellars! Ghosts and Goblins wanted to compete in Halloween Costume contest at the winery from 2-5 p.m. Adults and kids welcome to vie for most creative costume prizes. Treats, hot apple cider and pumpkin soup provided to spice up your Halloween fun. Celebrate the season with the family in a fun, welcoming environment. A full slate offered and white wines will be available for purchase as well as tastings and tours. Happy Halloween!
