Senior pushes for
community center
Rappahannock County High School senior Rebecca Oyster spoke, saying she and others have been "trying to get a community center set up for students and younger college students" in the county. Oyster began this project earlier this year, and a letter outlining the idea appeared in the Rappahannock News in March. She related that high school principal Roger Mello has supported her efforts and offered fund raising suggestions such as holding a benefit concert. Oyster expressed a hope that the board would consider and find ways to support her efforts to acquire a location
