Grantwriting Seminar draws over
15 organizations
On October 17 and 18 over 15 nonprofits, community service organizations, government agencies and nohgovemmental organizations will gather at the Town Hall in Washington, Virginia to attend Grantwriting USA’s two day seminar.
The Rappahannock Nonprofit Center is sponsoring the event which will bring Grantwriting USA in from Nevada to run the workshop. Grantwriting USA has held workshops across America that dramatically enhance performance in the areas of grant writing, grant maker research and relations, program planning, and personal and organizational excellence.
Participants will learn how to write and review winning proposals including the essential components of a grant proposal package, how to customize a proposal to match a grant maker's interest, how to initially approach a funder, the differences between government and foundation proposals, how to report on a grant's progress and impact, how to develop working relationships with grant makers, what to do if your proposal is denied and the behind-the-scenes decisions that determine proposal acceptance and denial.
