From North Carolina and Delaware, from local areas and from Rappahannock County, former students of Scrabble School came to the school site to share their memories and see what has happened to their old school building. Eighty alumni and friends of Scrabble School ate hamburgers, hot dogs, heard gospel music and toured the building on Saturday, October 29. They enjoyed the fall weather, saw old friends and made new acquaintances, all through the common bond of an old derelict building that once was their school.
