If you’ve never been or you go every year, a visit to Middleburg’s Christmas Bazaar held at Emmanuel Episcopal Church is worth the ride. Entrance fee is $5.00. Unique items always offered with plenty of hot coffee, chocolate and sweet things while you browse for holiday goodies. Take in lunch at any number of Middleburg’s fine restaurants.
November 4: Rappahannock
Public School Auction
Come to the school auction on Friday, November 4 at Rappahannock County Public Schools Bus Garage on 6 Schoolhouse Road, Washington, at 5 p. m. Some of the items that will be auctioned off are a school bus, 1991 Chevrolet 4-door Sedan (runs), along with other automobiles, record players, overhead projectors, other equipment, washer and dryer and tools. The auctioneer wifi be Mike Tupper.
November 4: Mad
Hot Ballroom
The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and Community (RAAC) will be presenting “Mad Hot Ballroom” starting at 8 p.m. at the Theatre. It’s a documentary sure to please that follows a group of young students as they learn to dance and to grow up. The film is rated PG and contains some mild references to sex and violence.
November 5: Smithsonian at
Little Washington
The Smithsonian Chamber Players perform music of Johann Sebastian Bach in this “Brilliance of the Baroque” concert. Performance begins at 8 p.m. at the Theatre in Washington. Ticket information at (540) 675-1253.
