A hineral service was neia on IViesday, November 1 at the Clore-English Funeral Home in Culpeper with Rev. Mark DeAngeLs conducting the service.
Burial was in the Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Viewtown, with military honors provided by the American Legion Post 330 and V.F.W. Post 2524 Honor Guards. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2654 Valley Ave., Suite B, Winchester, VA. 22601.
Rita M. Haley
Rita Marie Gaffey Haley died Thursday, October 27 at Augusta Medical Center in Fishersville. She was bom June 19, 1912 at Norristown, Pa., to Arthur F. and Helen M. Gaffey.
Mrs. Haley was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Haley.
She is survived by a son, James F. Haley, Jr. and wife, Jeanne of Huntly, two daughters, Ellen Noland and husband Douglas of Verona, Va., and Elizabeth Haley of Staunton, Va., and five grandchilden.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Staunton. Burial will be scheduled in late November at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, East Norriton, Pa.

Alice Althomia Putnam Pullen, 93, of Flint Hill died Wednesday, October 26 at the Lynn Care Center.
Mrs. Pullen was bom April 14, 1912, in Fauquier County, Virginia, daughter of the late Edward Corbin Putnam and Lucy Frances Grimsley Putnam.
She was retired from Aileen Corporation in Flint Hill. She
