Annual Auction

Everyone is invited to the Child Care Learning Center 10th Annual Fall Auction and Party on Saturday, November 12, at the Washington School on Mt. Salem Avenue. Doors open at 5:30 pm to a sumptuous gourmet feast prepared by the RCHS Culinary Arts class. The $25 entry fee entitles guests to food, libations, and fun, as the Washington School brims with unique treasures up for bid during a Live Auction. Guests may also browse and bid on Silent Auction offerings, or purchase priced items from The Shoppe. Proceeds benefit CCLC’s Scholarship Program for the preschool and school-age children of Rappahannock.

November 12: Ham

and Turkey dinner

Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue will have a Ham and Turkey dinner on Saturday, November 12 at the fire hall from 5-8 p. m.

November 13: Reva Fire

Queen and King Pageant

The Reva Fire and Rescue Department will be crowning a queen and king at this year’s upcoming pageant. It will be held Sunday, November 13 at the Reva Fire and Rescue Department. Applications can be obtained at the fire department or by calling Teresa Newberry at 8256582. The entry fee is $25 and all proceeds will go to the Reva Fire and Rescue Department. The age requirement for girls is 1 month to 22 years, for boys it is 1 month to 6 years. Preregistration is requested however you can register at the door 1 hour prior to the pageant which beings at 2:30 p.m. Admission fee is $1.00 including children.
