Congratulations to Steve Grayson, who has received a member award from the Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads, of which he was also elected secretary. He is a distant relative of this writer and an employee of Second Bank and Trust.
Belated birthday wishes go out to William Corbin on Tuesday, Louise Adkins on Thursday, Karla Bragg added a year Friday, nephew Jason Knick celebrated Nov. 1 and cousin Mary Ann Dodson had her day yesterday Wednesday and Susan Jenkins celebrates Thursday.
Jeffrey and Carol Peyton of O’Bannon Mill Road, celebrated another year togethei on Tuesday and may our good. Lord give them many more years.
