I am sony to report that on Wednesday, the 26th of October, Alice Pullen passed on to a better place.
Alice and Wade Pullen were always welcome guests in our home when I was growing up. Wade and my Dad, Moffett, were double first cousins, and, as Dad was an only child, there were times they were almost like brothers. My Mother worked hard in our home, keeping everybody else happy and raising a big family. But, the light would sparkle in her eyes when Alice and Wade and the girls were coming for a visit.

Alice and Mom were close. If Mom ever had a sick day, and there weren’t many of them, Alice Pullen - was the first one there to see what needed to be done. Mom was only about 7 years older than Alice, and although they were good friends Alice mostly referred to Mom as Mrs. Brady. And, funny thing, when Alice talked to my Dad she generally called him Mr. Brady, but not all the time.
My father liked to tell stories, and when he did, he often embellished them a bit, for the sake of a good story. When Alice and Wade were there and Dad
