Clever hands crafted pumpkin creations that ranged from grizzly to glamorous. One intricately carved carriage was definitely Cinderella inspired. White pumpkins turned to a feathered swan and distinguished snowman while some gnarly squash morphed into an alligator. Little Miss Muffet had an elegant tuffet and a sculpted castle glowed ever so brightly.

In neighboring Speriyville, the Spenyville Volunteer Rescue Squad < turned into a Haunted House and squad members treated more than 100 tricksters.

They come in droves but every- 'i one is prepared for the fun and nobody leaves without bagfuls of ? candy. It’s hard to tell who enjoys - Halloween the most in Rappahannock - the tricksters or the treaters.
