“Thank you for picking up your lay*." “Thank you for remembering to get milk.” “Thank you for putting gas in the car." “Thank you for making your bed.”

Small routine matter*? No! Becau*e when a “thank you” i* said, it provides a link of love for those involved. If we work on these (mail link* of love, we can make life happier for those around u*. It is encouraging to be thanked for the things we do.

The personal “thank you” also remind* ut that a thank you to God is in order. In 1 Thcssatonians 5il8 we are reminded to “...give thank* in all circumstances”. We can thank Him in prayer as we acknowledge His love and presence. We don’t have to stop and close our eyes and bow our head* each timei we can just sav a simple “thank you”. Our prayers of thanksgiving link us to God with love.

A* we pray, each day and weekly at our house of worship, we can say thank you for everything, big and small. With each “thank vou” we can acknowledge God’s love for us and our love for Him!
