Natural educator
Amissville resident Beverly Hunter was recognized by the Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District’s Board of Directors when she was presented with the “Educator of the Year Award.” This honor was given in recognition of her outstanding efforts and innovative approaches towards public education regarding natural resource conservation. Rappahannock residents and local farmers Monira Rifaat and Cliff Miller were delighted to be on hand when Beverly received the award on October 27. Another Rappahannock farmer Joyce Harman and her mother received the Rappahannock Farmer of the Year Award.
