Position available with the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services in Leesburg. VA. Responsible for the development and implementation of age appropriate after school groups for Middle School teens that address building resiliency and positive life skills utilizing recreation and leadership development. Implement and develop summer camp programs for at-risk youth. Coordinate and implement community education projects and campaigns such as Blue Ribbon Campaign for Child Abuse Prevention, World AIDS Day and bullying prevention. Develop and deliver communitybased trainings, awareness events and extensive community outreach to introduce teen events and services. Requires Bachelor's degree in Health Science Education. Social Work or related field. Prefer 2 years related work experience. Ability to speak Spanish helpful. Previous youth prevention experience strongly preferred. Valid driver's license required.
