The Fauquier County Civil War Roundtable’s monthly dinner meeting will be held Wednesday, November 9, at the Fauquier Springs Country Club. Everyone, members and non-members are invited and welcome. Mr. Frank Stringfellow Walker, Jr. will talk on the “Battle of Cedar Mountain.” Frank was bom, in Madison County and now lives in Orange County. He is the grandson of Robert Walker one of Mosby’s •rangers. - - Frank got his BS degree in agronomy from VPI, an MBA at the University of Virginia, and a law degree from UVA. He practiced law for many years in Orange, VA. He is now founder and President of Tourguide, LTD, and provides tours of Civil War sites in the area. He is a member of the Orange County Historical Society and the author of “Remembering: A History of Orange County, VA”. The evening starts with a social time at 6:30 p.m. Dinner is from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. followed by the program.
