Although some residents were willing to be identified and photographed speaking about voting, others asked to remain anonymous.
The overwhelming majority of those approached were at least familiar with the election, and most seemed especially concerned with the races for governor and less so with the House of Delegates race. Despite this, not all of those askc J were planning on voting.
“1 just don’t vote,” said Evelyn Thompson of Flint Hill. Jennifer Tumblm, of Washington, wasn’t sure that voting mattered. “I’m so poor, it doesn't matter how I vote. It’s going to come out the same," she explained.
