Next Tuesday we vote to select a Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General and our district’s delegate. No one can say for sure how the turnout will be or who will win.
Rappahannock registrar Nancy Newlin says turnout may depend on the weather that day as much as anything else. Our state elections occur on off years from national elections, which tends to suppress turnout. Statewide, turnout has been dropping steadily over .the last decade and a half.
Our district for the State House of Delegates comprises Rappahannock, Page and Shenandoah counties, as well as part of Rockingham County.
