College bound
For Waldorf, Hearthstone and all forms of education, the proof of that education is how well students perform beyond high school. Nearly 90 percent of Hearthstone graduates have gone on to college, and nationally 93 percent of Waldorf high school students attend four-year colleges. Formal German studies have found that Waldorf graduates do very well later in life, in university and careers. Another German study found that 22 percent of Waldorf graduates had passed rigorous German achievement tests, which is triple the rate for stateschool students.
