in this country at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C. His work reflects these formal influences, but Hans says that it owes most to his encounter with contemporary artists both here and abroad, and with their work as represented in the great museums and galleries. His own work is represented in private and public collections and has been shown by the Franz Bader Gallery of Washington, D.C., and more recently by various galleries in Virginia.
All Rappahannock artists are encouraged to apply for an open studio, or to be part of a group open studio.
