Rappahannock
Guide ast year the Rappahannock News saw the debut of the Rappahannock Guide which listed a host of 1 jiorganizations, churches, galleries, wineries, farms, orchards, government agencies, restaurants and more. It also gave many of our local advertisers a chance to have their business prominently displayed in a publication with a long shelf life. The cover boosted photographs from our own Flint Hill photojoumalist Richard Lykes whose work appeared throughout the guide. Our New 2006 Guide will be more user friendly than ever. It will be in a new size that will be smaller and easier to keep. It will be a slick, full-color magazine style publication that will certainly be kept and referred to ofteii. You’ll also remember that since this was the first year that the Rappahannock News produced such a publication, there was room for error. While compliments were many, there were also complaints and hopefully many of those can be avoided this year as we spread the word that the publication is a coming attraction, there is plenty of time for advertisers to get on board and room for editorial improvements as well. Please let me know if there are areas that you’d like covered, other things that you’d like to see or if you weren’t included in a particular section.
