The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and Community brings “Syriana” to The Theatre on Gay Street, Washington, on Friday, April 21 at 8 p.m. A political thriller with multiple storylines in a tale of oil, politics, corruption, moral ambiguity, radical Islam and terror will be shown at The Theatre on Gay Street, Washington at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 21. All are invited to join in creating rhythm and music on Earth Day, Saturday, April 22 from 6 - 7:30 at Sage, in the Rappahannock Wellness Center. It’s fun, easy, and different every time. Group drumming can stimulate coordination, cooperation, greater listening skills, and has been scientifically proven to reduce stress. No experience necessary. All ages welcome. “Womanless Beauty Pageant”
The third annual “Womanless Beauty Pageant” will be on April 22 at 6 p.m. at Rappahannock County Elementary School. Ib benefit Carolyn’s Live, Laugh, Love Relay for Life Team. Registration $10 talent competition (optional). Admission $5 per person 13 and up, $2 person 12 under and five and under, free. Help support the American Cancer Society for Life. April 22: RCHS Annual
Powder Puff Football Game
Rappahannock County High School will host its annual Powder Puff Football Game April 22 at 2 p.m. on the athletic practice field. The game pits the junior high school girls against the seniors. The boys, who serve as cheerleaders, plan a halftime show. Admission is $5 for an adult and $3 for each student. Children four and under are free.
