April 7: Easter Egg Hunt
Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue will be having its annual Free Easter Egg hunt on . Saturday, April 7 at 11 p. m. for all children up through the age of 12. A plastic firefighters helmet with candy will be given each child.

There will be an Easter bake sale on Saturday, April 7th from 8 a. m. to 1 p. m. at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Woodville. Lunch available from 10 a.m. to 1 p. m. There will baked goods, jewelry, crafts and more. Benefit for the Relay for Life. Sponsored by Melvin’s Crusaders.

The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter of NSDAR will hold their Tuesday, April 10, meeting at Little Fork Episcopal Church, 16461 Oak Shade Road, Rixeyville, VA. Watch for historic marker on 229. The meeting will start at 1:30 p.m. The program: “Historic Little Fork Church, 1775” will be presented by Mr. Tom Hayes. Hostesses are Jane Kearns and Patricia Bryson. Our April 11 speaker is Mr. Gar Schulin who will speak on “7200 years a gentleman, Mr. Robert E. Lee.”/* Gar has accumulated over 20 different pictures of this great Virginian, and will have these in a looped Power Point at the meeting, as he presents his favorite Confederate leader. The April meeting will be at *Ripley Hall: The Inn at Kelly’s Ford*. You can’t beat the $20.00 fee for dinner, gratuity, and dessert. And, No room charge. They have plenty of coffee and tea and offer a cash bar for the group. Come support Gar as we celebrate the anniversary df Robert E. Lee, a great Virginian.
