Virginia Presgraves, 45, of Stanley, Va. was charged with disregarding a stop sign after she plowed her Ford F-150 into Jeffery Butler, 49, of Washington, Va. The accident occurred near U.S. 211 and Route 639 on March 29. Virginia State Trooper Christopher Roop handled the scene.
Two for one
Patrick R. Hill Jr., 25, of Castleton, Va. was arrested for driving while intoxicated. The passenger, Jason E. Rudd, 24, was charged with being Drunk in Public. Rudd was also found to be wanted in Madison County. The incident occurred at about 3:50 a.m. and was handled by Dept. Angela Deavers.
Correction
On March 7,2007 The Rappahannock News reported that Ann Pallie, 64, of Viewtown, Va. was charged with reckless driving after failing to yield. Pallie was only charged with failure to yield. The Rappahannock News regrets this error.
