Polly Ann Myers Tates, 75, of Amissville died March 26 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church, Va.
She was bom Nov. 5, 1931 in Flint Hill, daughter of the late Robert McKinley and Phebe Davenport Peyton.
Mrs. Myers began her working career as a domestic and later spent 25 years at Aileen sewing factory in Flint Hill.
After she finished working she took care of her greatgrandchildren . She loved to read to her children and greatgrandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter, Annie May Chambers and a devoted sonin-law, Flonoy Christopher Chambers of Amissville, two grandchildren, five greatgrandchildren, and two greatgreat-grandchildren.
