• The American Cancer Society will do skin damage assessment with their Derma Scan machine;

• Dr. Joe Skinner will be doing a scoliosis and sports check;

• Germ anna Community College will bring dental hygiene students for oral cancer screening. Students will be supervised (and assisted) by Dr. Tom Johnson, Public Health Dentist;

• Doug Baumgardner will be helping with Living Wills;

• The Flint Hill Rescue Squad will be doing blood pressure and heart screenings, as well as measuring weight and taking health histories;

• The Washington Rescue Squad will be doing 12-lead electro-cardiograms and File for Life record keeping after the Fodderstack Race;

• Warren Memorial Hospital will be doing body mass index calculations;

• Kathy Edwards will be doing nutrition and health counseling;

• Roberts Home and Medical Equipment will be demonstrating hospital beds;

• And, there will be others.

And, in usual Rappahannock fashion, there will be nutritious snacks. ^
