the Architectural Review Board had approved the grinder pump installations. The sewer system is expected to be up and running by early January.
Mayor Eugene Leggett said the town had sent out letters late last month reminding residents that at least the first installment of their sewer service fees was due Oct. 1, and reported that the town had received “a good response” so far. Sewer easement agreements are also progressing; only a handful are not yet finalized, according to town officials.
