The Fifth Annual Artists of Rappahannock Studio & Gallery Tour will take place on Nov. 7 and 8, from 10 a m. to 5 p.m.
The Washington firehall will be transformed into an art gallery, serving as the headquarters for this much-anticipated annual event. A donation of $10 per person is requested, which supports the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community’s many arts-related programs.
As the fifth anniversary of the tour draws near, its founders reflect on how this popular event began.
When former Rappahannock artist Lois Manookian began to talk with her friends and RAAC colleagues, Claudia Mitchell, Linda Dietel, Sallie Morgan and Joanne Hiltv more than five years ago, the Artists of Rappahannock Studio & Gallery Tour was a concept and vision that Lois had for showcasing the county's wealth of artistic talent.
