the high school when it is cold out and you can’t even touch those windows. They are like icicles and some even have had ice forming on them.
Most of you know that I do not always agree with stuff that goes on at our schools and I would like to see some changes in some areas. But you know, I am fed up with certain people constantly putting down this school system.
We only have two schools in this county and the majority of the people who live here cannot afford to send their children to private schools. We pay our taxes just like everyone else in Virginia. Why shouldn’t our students have the essentials that every other school system has? Our school buildings are old and they need to be repaired. Simple maintenance has nothing to do with the fact that the windows are over 25 years old and need to be replaced.
I may complain and I do want changes, but you will also see me out there working for the kids and putting my money where my mouth is.
