Thursday night’s game against Fresta Valley.
In a 3-0 match, the Panthers scored 25-6, 25-19 and 25-12. Joslyn Smith shone once again with another “career high of five kills.”
This win lifts the team to a 5-1 overall record as the upcoming week will see the Lady Panthers on the road to East Hardy, W.Va., and Wakefield in The Plains.
Junior Varsity
In the Junior Varsity competition on Sept. 8, Coach Jimmy Swindler reported:
“The team lost in two straight sets to a very good Skyline High School. While Rapp was defeated, they kept their cool in both games and kept it close in the second game against what is probably the best team they will face
