The pantry can use all the milk, butter, and eggs that it can get for the more than 400 people who benefit from The Pantry. Canned and boxed supermarket food donations are at record pace this month. Alas, no fruit donations so far this month but, even as summer wanes, gardeners contributed almost 600 pounds of vegetables.
The Rappahannock Benevolent Fund made a substantial contribution toward the pantry’s rent.
