Reached Tuesday, Frazier said he looked forward to seeing the documents he'd asked to see, and that he hoped the supervisors and School Board could work together to resolve the roof issue.

“I can't see how a company like Kenbridge would jeopardize its good reputation by walking away from a situation like this,” Frazier said. “If there is some liability^, even partial liability, the School Board might be able to use at least some of that stimulus money in other areas where it's needed.”

Regional Jail

In other actions, after a lengthy discussion, the supervisors voted unanimously to remain a part of a regional jail project with Shenandoah and Warren counties. The state would pick up half the $68 million tab for the 335-bed facility; Rappahannock's 11-percent share would be $2.7 million.
